  We originally planned on going to Vincennes to visit Grouseland. Then, I seen that they had a revolutionary battlefield monument/park in town so I put that on the travel plan. While driving to the battlefield park, we passed this old Catholic Church. Probably the highlight of our spring break tour through 9 Presidential Homes/Libraries and a couple days stop in Chicago. The church is so historical and beautiful and the library is a must visit. If you don't make an appt. ahead of time, don't plan on the tour, we just got lucky as some local scouts were having a special mass and tour. Plan on 90 minutes, up to 120 minutes for the visit. We ended up shortening our time at Grouseland, and we were glad we did.

  Church is nice but the secretary is one of the rudest and most unfriendly people I have ever met in all my years attending and visiting churches.
